The municipality of Santa Eulalia del Río is home to the third largest town in Ibiza, Santa Eulalia, and is located on the east coast of the island. Comprising one town and picture-perfect white villages such as Santa Gertrudis, Jesús, and San Carlos, it is known for its designated smoke-free, gently sloping family-friendly beaches, and is the site of the only small river on the island, which enters the sea at the western end of the town of Santa Eulalia. The beautiful forests and agricultural farmland add to the charm of the municipality.
